The Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, held a meeting with representatives of various religions at the Zabu Thiri Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on April 12, 2024. During this event, the "The All Myanmar Shia Muslim Organization" was invited, and the state presented land grant permits for missionary activities for four major religions. The Chairman of the Organization, U Khin Maung Aye @ Alhajj Muhammad Ali Hussein Fazil Shirazi, accepted the grants on behalf of Shia Muslims in Myanmar.

Guided by the luminous teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), and the supreme examples of justice, compassion, and community service, we are committed to a dual sacred trust.
First, as a custodian of our religious heritage, we strive to nurture the spiritual and intellectual growth of our community. Through educational programs, religious gatherings, and the preservation of our Islamic principles, we seek to strengthen the bonds of faith that unite us, fostering a generation grounded in knowledge and piety.
Second, as a responsible member of the wider society of Myanmar, we are deeply devoted to social welfare and humanitarian service. Our activities in charity, healthcare, education for the underprivileged, and emergency relief are driven by the core Islamic values of empathy, mercy, and social justice.

To our respected community members, partners, and well-wishers
To our respected community members, esteemed partners in faith, and all people of goodwill,
Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
It is with a profound sense of duty and gratitude that I address you as the General Secretary of the All Myanmar Shia Muslim Organization (AMSMO). Our organization stands as a pillar of faith, service, and unity for the Shia Muslim community across Myanmar, guided by the eternal principles of Islam and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt a.s (peace be upon them).
Our core mission is twofold, reflecting the inseparable bond between spiritual devotion and social responsibility:
1. Religious Affairs & Spiritual Nurturing: We are dedicated to preserving, promoting, and practicing our faith with knowledge, devotion, and harmony. Our activities in this sacred domain include:
* Organizing and facilitating congregational prayers, Majalis, and commemorations for significant religious events throughout the year.
* Supporting religious education for all ages through classes, seminars, and libraries to deepen understanding of the Holy Quran, Islamic jurisprudence, and our rich spiritual heritage.
* Fostering interfaith and intra-faith dialogue to promote mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and religious solidarity within Myanmar's diverse social fabric.
2. Social Welfare & Community Support: True faith manifests in service to humanity. We are committed to uplifting the vulnerable and strengthening the bonds of our society through:
* Providing humanitarian assistance, including food aid, shelter support, and essential supplies, to families and individuals in need, irrespective of their background.
* Supporting educational initiatives and health programs that empower our youth and care for our elders.
* Offering guidance, counseling, and social services to address the challenges faced by community members.
In these complex times, our commitment to these principles remains unwavering. We strive to be a source of solace, a platform for unity, and a force for positive contribution to our nation.
